Guatemala / Any Resemblence Is Entirely Coinsidental (2019)
I realised nothing was original, and nothing was freeing. So I decided with my dancers to simply repeat, recreate and pay homage to the those whose influence is inevitable, subcome to the cannon I’m a part of, whether I want to or not. The piece is dedicated to everything I’m sick of and can’t without.
